We can’t even begin to think of raising funds to this level on our own, we need your help and support. We could possibly do it on our own, but the time span would be in the lap of the gods. With your help we can achieve our aim in a much shorter time. We have no big names, (well, not yet – but one never knows) no glitterati, just ourselves. So please support us. Together we will achieve our target.
This campaign may even take a year or two, but, we will not rest until every last penny is raised. This is the very least we can do. Watch this space for future events.
A predicted fund figure by the end of Sept 2007 will be in the region of £13,000. Brilliant start - just another £37,000 to go!
Would you please make all donation cheques payable to “PICU THE PENGUIN FUND” quoting the registration number “Reg 1057213”.

Brilliant news, on March the 10th our granddaughter was fitted with her new heart. One day at a time, but, we can't hide our elation. Now we must turn our thoughts to the family of our donor.
21st Oct 2007 - Martha is home. Martha entered the doors of the Freeman Hospital in January of this year. Since that then time has stood still.
Martha managed to return home for a couple of weeks during the summer, but as things were not going quite as well as expected she was returned to Freeman. Three weeks ago she was discharged and is progressing quite well ( fingers crossed ).
If you heard a nation wide roar a couple of weeks ago, it was the result of Martha taking her first unaided steps. I was not there to witness the event, but thinking about what this little star has endured over the past nine months, i must confess i began to suffer from leaky eyes.
Mum Gillian and the twins Martha and Matilda have there birthday on the 22nd Oct, ( the twins will be 2yrs ) i get the funny feeling it could be quite a day.
8th May 2008 - Martha is continuing to make good progress ( you should see the dance routine ) and is rapidly catching twin sister Matilda. May we take this opportunity to say a sincere thank you to hall who have, and still do, support us, we are very very grateful.
